Description of exhibition: “HUNG” reflects the installation method of the exhibition and recent occurrences at the gallery. The artwork will be HUNG from the ceiling to give cohesion to the variety of work presented, which will include: paintings, drawings, fabric art, sculptures, video, installation art, and performance art.
Last winter, the status of Little Berlin was in limbo due to financial difficulties, but the gallery recovered through vigourous fundraising and advocacy by its members and supporters. We are grateful for the opportunity to continue our mission, within our neighborhood and the greater Philadelphia art community, to encourage experimentation and to be open to the myriad ways of artmaking.
Participating artists are: Masha Badinter, Alana Bograd, Eileen Lillian Doyle, Marshall James Kavanaugh, Tyler Kline, Caitlin McCormack, Angela McQuillan, Andy Molholt, Kelani Nichole, Samantha Reedy, Lee Tusman, Alex Walcroft
