TV Underground

For the month of February in 2016, I was an artist in residence at The Holy Underground in Baltimore, MD. As part of my stay, I worked on video art to accompany my performances of haikus I wrote while traveling across the country. One project I worked on was titled "Haiku TV". Each piece is a digital TV stack paired with footage I took of the various landscapes I encountered while traveling around the country over several years, with the matching haiku written and signed underneath the digital displays. The work was on display, playing on a very tangible (real) TV wall, created for the front window of The Holy Underground performance space. The piece was on display for passing wanderers and concert goers to enjoy all month long!
